Pure Henna

Rumor has it Lucille Ball used pure henna her whole life to get a beautiful natural red color. If you have gray and you would like red highlights use this. Or if you just want to add extra luster to your naturally red hair. This is body art grade henna.

Always do a strand test prior to applying henna.

Step 1. Wash and dry hair, do not use dandruff or chemical shampoo.
Step 2. Mix with water to get a yogurt consistency.

Step 3. Put on gloves and apply to head as thick as possible. Rinse one hour later.

Do not use shampoo on head for 24-48 hours. 48 hours is best.

you should use our “black hair dye” to get back to your desired color. Harvest Moon hair and beard dye┬« will condition while it colors making your hair healthier and shinier. The new hair growth will need to be touched up as it grows in to maintain the black color.

Almost 4. 1 packet does bra length hair.

  • Nicki Crookston:

How many ounces are in a package?

  • Henna hair dye:

100 grams. That is enough to do bra length hair.

  • mary:

How many grams are included in each “pack’? I have very long hair and do not want to not have enough to cover it all.

That is why everyone comes to us, they get a bad reaction to chemical hair dye. Use Harvest Moon Mahogany, it is deep brown with subtle red. Thanks!

I have been highlighting my hair for years. I’m way blonde right now and need to go back to my dark brown (normal) color. I’m being told that I will need a filler (auburn/gold) to put warmth back in and then use the brown gold. I’m allergic to the normal hair dye. What do you suggest?

Just wanted to say I received my henna yesterday. And applied it today. My hair is dark brown with a little bit of grey on the sides and top. I mixed mine with warm water, a couple tsps of apple cider vinegar, a small amount of cinnamon and 3 drops of rosemary essential oil. I let it sit while I prepped the bathroom, about 10 minutes, then applied. It was not messy at all ! I was expecting a disaster area but it didnt get on anything. :-) I cover my head with a plastic bag and cut a small hole in the top. I kept it on a litte more than an hour, then rinsed it off. OMG you have not idea how much I love, love, love this stuff !!! My hair had a gorgeous bright redddish where the grey was and a darker shade of red throughout the rest of my hair. My hair feels wonderful !! So soft, silky and shiny. I am love with this stuff and WILL be back to buy more again and again. Thank you !!!

Thank you very much for your help. I ordered and am waiting for it to arrive. I can’t wait to use it ! I would love to see a before and after section on this website. Being able to see the results people get would be really helpful and inspiring. =)

  • Henna hair dye:

Any brown you use will have henna and indigo in it. So no browns are pure henna by itself. Pure henna will give you red orange only. So your grays will be red orange and your brown will be a darker brown with hints of red orange.

Hello. I’ve used henna only once before…it was mixed for a dark brown color. I liked it but would rather use henna that is 100% pure from now on, which is why I’m looking at your website now. My hair is fine, thin, dry, fuzzy and very fragile. It is very dark brown with some grey coming in through the top and sides. My question is: If I use this product which I see is 100% pure with no dyes added, what color kind of color can I expect my hair to turn out? I see above that it states grey will turn into redish highlights but what about my dark brown hair?
