Henna Frequently Asked Questions
Is Henna Safe?
Yes. Henna has been used by many different cultures for many different reasons for several thousand years.
How long will Henna Hair Dye last?
The color will darken over the course of a few days and last up to 4-6 weeks(varies by individual).
Does Tea or Coffee Help when mixing?
We have not seen any significant change using coffee or tea. We suggest you use only NATURAL ingredients if you do plan on mixing your own.
Will a light color henna dye cover darker hair?
Henna hair dye will not color black or dark brown hair a lighter shade. It will color the grey hairs the lighter shade giving you a kind of highlighted look depending on the amount of grey.
Can you use Henna right after a “chemical dye job”?
Yes as long as it is all natural. We suggest that you wait until a few weeks after your “chemical dye job” before you apply Henna Hair Dye or vice versa, however always do a strand test first.
How do I apply the Henna Hair Dye?
Complete instructions will come with your product. Application is very similar to the chemical dye treatments you buy at the store.
How long will 100 grams last?
That all depends on the length and thickness of your hair. Typically 100 grams is enough to do shoulder length hair twice. To make it last longer, just use the extra to touch up the roots.

I have a couple of questions if I may. Do you have any UK distributors? If not, do you post internationally?
Also, does the light brown have warm tones to it? I’m a natural red head (medium to light colour) with blonde eyebrows which I normally tint. All (vegan) eyebrow tints I’ve used jar with my natural hair colour because they are either too dark and/or have no warm tones in them; the hard brown doesn’t look natural with my colouring.
I suspect your CopperTop and Deep Red would be far too ‘warm’/orange/red for my natural colour. Do you sell very small samples so I can test? Or do you have pictures of these colours after they have been used on blonde hair?

The light brown does have a noticeable brown shade. Some customers that start out with blonde/white/silver/gray hair tend be a bit redder on the first applications. You can purchase sample packets online, the price includes the postage cost.

I used the Light Brown henna product and my graying light brown hair and turn mahogany color. I followed the instructions. How can I get the red out? Would using the LB henna product again for only 10 minutes help or should I order something else?
Light brown is tricky on beards. It usually takes 24-48 hours to turn light brown and the average man needs to trim his beard once a week. This can be tedious. In your case brown will be the best bet.
